Click off Spring Fever!

Click Pack

Well, it’s here — Vanilla Latte Click!

To help celebrate, I have a Click Pack to give away.  It includes what’s pictured above — a canister of Vanilla Latte Click (which has 14 2-scoop servings) and a Click Blender Ball cup.  (Which is remarkably similar to the ones pictured in all of my reviews… o_O)

To enter, all you have to do is make a comment below with a post you’d like to see me do.  That’s it.  I’ll pick a winner on Tuesday, 4/6 at 9pm EDT using a random number generator.

Good luck!

Unfortunately I’ve not scanned your previous blogs enough to make a proper request for a topic… I AM super interested in pregnancy after WLS as I’m young and would eventually like to have kids.

Have you talked about cooking for a family? Do you find yourself cooking separate meals? Or is everyone pretty healthy eaters in your home?

Whenever I go out to eat or eat with friends/family I usually just tell them to cook whatever and I’ll eat around it even though they tend to ask what my special diet needs are. I hate having them try to make something specifically for me, especially when I don’t eat enough as it is!

I like J Miller’s idea! Pregnancy post WLS.

  3. sand says:

based on JMiller’s and canticles replies – I would now say, I’d like to see a post on food issues post WLS, such as not tolerating gluten/wheat, lactose, artificial sweeteners

  4. debra cowden says:

I’d like to win some click.

I’d like to know why vitamin D has to have such freaking big pills. Even the Petite vitamin D’s are insane. Yes they are shorter, but it’s the girth that gets you! (Ok you decide whether to go there or not.)

  5. RNY_Kattitude says:

I would like to see posts about eating out at a restaurant, both as a new post-op and as a post-op 2+ years out.

  6. Penney says:

I would be interested in seeing a post about Omegas/Fish Oils….how necessary are they, how much do we need, how well do we absorb them?
I would looooooooove a Click Pack!

  7. ChristieS says:

I would love to try the new Click flavor. I don’t like coffee, but I absolutely love Click – the only protein powder I’ve found that I like.

I’d like to see a post about recommended supplements and the timing of taking them. I’m 15 months post op, and still struggle to get the timing of my vitamins and supplements right! And also any recommendations of easy ways to tote all these supplements around for the work day.

I really appreciate the vitamin-specific posts that you’ve done to date (Vitamin A, Vitamin D, etc.) and hope you’ll continue working on those. I’m sure they’re research intensive!

I, too, would like to hear about pregnancy post-WLS, especially the nutrition and supplementation issues. Maybe an introductory post for those pregnant after WLS with the most important things to do that the regular OB-GYN wouldn’t tell you. A primer for the unique needs of a post-WLS pregnancy?

  9. Greg says:

Hi Andrea, love your contests. I would like to see you address the different kinds of protein (Whey Protein Isolate… why is it the best? Calcium casseinate… a waste of time & money?? Why?). I’ve searched your blog for such, maybe I missed it if you’ve done it.

  10. Melissa Stevens says:

I would like to see a M_M fic

Also, though it might have already been written, how does a mother balance a WLS diet while feeding kids

  11. Penny says:

I appreciate your help so much on the OH RNY & Main boards.

I would like you to address how to increase calories – not using simple carbs. My dietician said to increase calories. I’ve tried with some nuts and nut butter. In the evening, when I see I don’t have enough calories – I’m just not hungry and don’t want anything.

    Thanks again.

  12. Diane says:

I’d like to see some ideas for feeding my active, normal weight (bottom of the weight chart for age but very muscular) kids while not fixing separate meals for myself. Love your vitamin info too.

  13. Patti says:

I would love to win this!

I would also love to see you post about Vitamin D and why it is so hard to keep levels up! I have a band and can’t for the life of me figure it out!

  14. Aimee says:

I’d like to see information on how to prevent reactive hypoglycemia when you really can’t snack or eat every 2 hours because you work as a clinical instructor in a busy hospital setting and as an ICU nurse.

  15. Becky says:

    yeah for the giveaway, , , ,
I’d love to see a post on how people stretch their pouches. – and what happpens to people who do. And, can you really eat a full sized meal a few years post-op? (i am still 12 weeks out)

  16. Lisa says:

OOO neat giveaway! Since I am still struggling and working through this whole vitamin thing I would love to see when is the best time to take which vitamins, how long to wait between certain ones, and things like that. Keep up the good work! :)

  17. Sherra Ogden says:

I’d LOVE this and i’d love to see more on Colon cleansing and the safety of it post WLS as well as Getting back on the band wagon. :)

  18. Melissa says:

MMMM CLICK.. I haven’t tried the vanilla yet. Want to!!!

I would really like to see more on pregnancy and how it affects hunger levels, cravings, etc. I had a friend who became SO lethargic with pregnancy and her iron got crazy low… she was fine before. Now she is on iron infusions. I want to hear more about ways to prevent this etc.

    Thanks! YOU ROCK!

  19. Shawna W says:

I would love some click Vanlilla!

Also I would love for you to do a post on B12 and the effects it can have on your mental well being following sugery, and how the deficency of B12 makes you feel like your losing your mind, can’t remember s@#t, and end up with those stupid shots~!!
Also another suggestion I have is to inform people that beacause they eat 70 grams of protein a day doesn’t mean your absorbing 70 grams!!!

  20. nessa says:

Can I enter too?? please? I think I like vanilla click cold but Mocha Hot.

what would I like to see you post on… hmmm…

    so many issues I have
why my ferratin dropped 20 points in 3 months even with supplementation
why MEN lose so much better than women
    TRANSFER addiction…
or why I love you so much???

  21. Kim says:

I would <3 to see a bit on B12 "dots vs. Shots"

  22. Diana R. says:

Looks YUMMY!! My taste buds have about given UP on anything related to protein shakes…eww. This vanilla latte looks good!
I would love to see some more information on hypoglycemic reactions? Since my banding, I have gotten down to 145, than all of a sudden, I (almost overnight) put on 12 lbs and now I’ve been dealing with a form of hypoglycemia – weird here, cause I check my blood sugar and It’s always in the 80′s when I am having symptoms. Doctors are perplexed to say the least! I would like to see a poll maybe? On long timers, see how they are doing?? Anything strange going on? Oh, and btw…I can’t drop that 12 lbs, either!! Doesn’t matter if I work out consistently for 6 mo. or not and just sit on my butt. That scale is determined to be my bane.

  23. sand says:

I have another suggestion….how can we help overweight family members? Mostly kids and/or spouse….

  24. April says:

    Pregnancy Post WLS!!!

    Thanks for the contest!!

  25. YAY! Vanilla Click!
I’d love to see a side by side comparison of suppliments geared specifically towards bariatric patients. There are quite a few…what makes them different? Are some better than others?
