Box o Goodies

At the Houston OH event, Shannon from Revival Soy asked if I’d like to do some reviews for them.

I said sure if she’d send me some samples.

She fixed that problem very quickly with a box of goodies..

I usually try to get my reviews done in order of arrival.. but since I’ve been so bad at getting my reviews done at all, I’m having to mix them all up a bit to change the pace so I don’t get bored, and so YOU don’t get bored, either.

First up – Crazy Lace Non-Naughty Nibbles in Smaller Chin Cheddar (say that ten times fast..)

Crispy Lace Non-Naughty Nibbles

Well.  First off, the technically are not a Revival Soy product.  I figured this out as I searched on the Revival Soy website for a few minutes.  Then, I looked at the bag (hey, sometimes I can be stupid, too).  Technically, this is a Dr. Tabor’s slim & beautiful diet product.  Made by the same people, marketed by the same people.  Not really sure what the difference is?  Dr. Tabor sells both lines of product, both lines feature soy as a key ingredient..  whatever.  Just two different websites.  Whatever.

In any case, this is what is said about this product on the website:

the Non-Naughty Nibbles™: Sometimes snacking good feels sooo bad.

I can satisfy your hunger cravings for sweet, salty, and crunchy snacks with my hip, savvy nibbles.† You’ll agree after the first bite — it’s good to nibble!

The city is your catwalk with snacks this sassy.

Crispy Lace: Flavors inspired by a passion for fashion!*

Creamy cheese and crunchy perfection laugh in hunger’s face.

These are VERY crunchy.  They do live up to that part of the deal.  And they don’t taste bad, either.  In fact, they are downright tasty.  Nice and cheesy, which was actually kinda shocking given this was “diet food.”

But.  There aren’t many of them.  Just under an ounce.  And at 6 years out?  It’s not much for me.  I’m still hungry.  So I’m not exactly sure these are a good FILLER for me.. but they do fulfill the “crunch” need many of us are looking for after surgery.

I totally put cheese on them. I did. Or, put them in stuff. I did. They weren’t enough for me either. But, this was my fave of all of the holy Crunchies.
