In the process, we learned about a half-marathon held down at Disney World in November – the Wine and Dine half.
So if there was to be any motivation to get my ass back into a running program? This would be it. Further motivation would be to somehow get my favorite musical artist involved somehow..
Apparently, there is going to be a group of bariatric patients going down to do this. One of my friends in Raleigh is planning on doing it with me.
Now, it should be noted that I haven’t run for a year and a half so I’ll be starting from scratch. But I have 200+ days to get back into some semblance of shape (I’ll be adding a ticker) and I am putting this out there as a means of accountability. Yes, I hope to keep my progress updated.
