Well, I’ve officially begun my half-marathon training.
Yes, I really am going to go through with this insanity. Please remind me of this when I start to whine.
So a few numbers -
Starting weight: 218.5 (would like to get down at least to 200)
Minimum speed: 4 mph (must be completed in 3 1/2 hours)
Distance: 13.1 miles or apx 22 km
Time to train: bit over 8 months
I’m going to start working on short-term goals.. something “due” every 2 months and will report back with those.







It’s not insanity. You’ve done it before. Go.
I will hop on the accountability train with you. It’s always better to have a partner. I’ll do my best to eat right, stay hydrated and move (I’ll even use the elliptical).
I don’t know anybody more true to their word, determined, or earnest than you. Once you say you’re going to do something, you do it, and you do it damn well!
